Chevron Renaissance Resort Facilities – 2023

Chevron Renaissance Resort is easily one of the most popular family friendly resort on the Gold Coast. Chevron Renaissance resort facilities are located within its three towers right in the heart of Surfers Paradise, and directly above Coles supermarket, cafes and shops.

Beaches in the Sky

Located on level 6 of Skyline North and level 5 of Skyline Tower and Skyline Central is the magnificent sandy lagoon beaches called Beaches in the Sky. Surrounding the Beaches in the Sky is the residential recreational areas complete with barbeque pits, sitting areas, toilet and spas. There are various parties being held here at the recreational area while parents prepare a barbeque and watch over the children having fun in the sandy lagoon pool.

The sandy lagoon beach is extremely popular for families with young children frolicking on the beach, some who brought their own buckets and spade to make sand castles. The water is 1.2m deep and older children love swimming in this lagoon. Out of all the Chevron Renaissance resort facilities, Beaches in the Sky is probably the most popular attraction.

Rock Spa Bath

One of the most popular features of the Beaches in the Sky is its large rock spa bath which can comfortably occupy 12 – 15 adults.

The rock spa is heated and the jets, which last around 5 minutes each time, can be turned on by a switch located next to the rock spa. Glassware is not permitted in the spa but plastic ware is.

A barbeque pit is also located next to the rock spa bath so this is a great venue to hold a barbeque and relax in the spa.

Children’s Playground

A small children’s playground with slides is located next to the sandy lagoon pool for the kiddies. Parents can easily supervise their children from the lagoon pool while the little ones have a bit of fun.

Indoor Heated Lap Pool

One of the best and warmest indoor heated lap pools of all the complexes Holiday Holiday manage is the Chevron Renaissance indoor heated lap pool, also located level 6 of Skyline North and level 5 of Skyline Tower and Skyline Central.

The pool is 1.2 metres deep and has several steps leading into the water, which makes it ideal for young families who wish to swim in the comfort of an indoor pool.

The water regulated at a comfortable 28 degrees Celsius. Often you feel you don’t want to leave this pool.

There is also a 10-seater heated spa bath in the indoor heated pool which is always popular with guests and residents. Do let your body relax by the spa jets in the pool.

Fully Equipped Gym

The fully equipped gym at Chevron Renaissance is located next to the heated indoor swimming pool. You can even see through to the indoor heated pool while working out. The gym is a very popular feature of Chevron Renaissance resort facilities.

There are three treadmills, cycling machines, dumb bells, and various other weight lifting equipment in the gym. A special feature of this gym is an area for stretching your body.

Sauna

Head to the ladies and gents’ change room in the indoor swimming pool area and enjoy the sauna. Complete with wooden panelling, the sauna’s temperature is regulated to give you the best experience in the heat.

Outdoor Heated Lap Pool

The outdoor heated lap pool is a well kept secret in Chevron Renaissance. The outdoor lap pool is located on level 2 of Skyline Tower, which can be accessed by the entry fobs on your key.

The outdoor lap pool is approximately 15 metres long and even though it is heated, it is not very warm since it is open air. This is however, a lovely place to swim in during summer and located next to the outdoor lap pool is another barbeque pit and sitting areas.

Private Cinema

Did you know that Chevron Renaissance has its own resident’s private theatrette? Simply head to the main reception of Chevron Renaissance and you can hire the private cinema that sits 12 and play your favourite movies on the large projector for a special rainy day activity.

Games Room

Last but not least, why not head to the games room located on level 1 of the Skyline North Tower 2 for a fun hour or two of activities on the pinball machine, pool table, air hockey table and plenty of other slot machines.
