Chevron Renaissance Resort - Skyline North Tower
In previous Holiday insider story, we described the Skyline Tower of Chevron Renaissance resort. In this article, we will discuss one of the most popular towers in the Chevron Renaissance Resort Skyline North Tower, also known as Tower 2. North Tower is the most sought after because it is directly located above Coles.
Chevron Renaissance Resort Skyline North Tower
Tower 2 is very popular with guests who like the convenience of heading directly down to Coles supermarket. Guests with wheelchairs or parents with strollers will have to go around Skyline North Tower 2 entry from Ferny Avenue to access the ramp to go into Coles supermarket.
How many floors
Skyline North Tower is 48 levels high and was completed in year 2004. There are a selection of 1, 2, 3 bedrooms and two penthouses in the North Tower.
How many lifts
Skyline North Tower has four high speed lifts to service all the apartments in this building. To use the lifts, you must have a valid access fob that will give you access to the floor where you are staying on, the car park floors on levels 2, 3, and 4 or the facilities floor on level 6.
North Tower Facilities
The Beaches in the Sky, indoor swimming pool and garden area is located on level 6 in Chevron Renaissance Resort Skyline North Tower. Level 6 in Tower 2 brings you out directly to the equivalent of level 5 in Towers 1 and 3.
The barbecue areas and 20-seater rock pool are also located on level 6 of Skyline North. There is a magnificent resident’s lounge overlooking the shopping centre, Surfers Paradise skyline and ocean views on this floor, perfect for parties, or just to relax in with a book.
Change rooms are located on either sides of the lounge. Often, the pool and barbecue areas get quite busy so make sure you exercise courtesy by cleaning up the barbecue burners after use. Barbecue facilities are available on a first come first served basis.
For quicker access to Coles supermarket from the Beaches in the Sky, look for the side elevators that head straight down to the shopping centre. Make sure you have your key and fob with you to come back into the elevator and building.
The games room is located on level 1 of Tower 2. There are various gaming consoles and vending machines for the family, including a pool table and an air hockey table. Coin change facility is available in the games room.
