Surfers Paradise Kids Week is our favourite time of the year. This year’s theme is Superheroes so get the kids dressed up and get ready to meet your favourite superheroes! Surfers Paradise Kids Week runs from Saturday 28 September to Friday 4 October 2019.
Here are seven free events so make sure the kids don’t miss out on #2.
Surfers Paradise Kids Week Main Free Events:
#1: DC Justice League In-Training:
Three of the original Justice League members, Batman, Wonder Woman and The Flash, hosted by Metropolis crime beat reporter, Lois Lane, will go through a series of questions and answers, physical and mental activities, and teach us what it means to be a Super Hero. Focus on some of the techniques the super heroes use to achieve Superhero-dom.
Time: 2pm and 4pm daily
#2: DC Justice League Meet & Greet:
Meet three of the original Justice league members, Batman, Wonder Woman and The Flash. Lois Lane will be with them too so get dressed up in your best Batman, Wonder Woman or the Flash costume and say hello to your favourite super heroes.
Time: 3pm daily
#3: Radio Lollipop Dance Party:
Sing, dance, laugh and party along with Radio Lollipop Gold Coast Children’s Charity. Children can request a song and maybe even get a shout out live on air, while the children in hospital listen in and hear all the fun happening at Surfers Paradise Kids Week!
Time: 1pm daily
#4: Ditto’s 3 Rules – Bravehearts Foundation
Ditto from Bravehearts Foundation will run through his 3 rules:
- We all have the right to feel safe with people;
- It’s okay to say NO if you feel unsafe or unsure;
- Nothing is so yucky that you can’t tell someone about it;
When Ditto is done, let’s sing the ‘Run and Tell’ song.
Time: 2.30pm daily
#5: Captains and Friends Live Show
Come out and join Captain, Cleo, Astro and Dusty on the main stage in our “Paradise Dance Party” show. Dance along with the crew and meet the characters after the show.
Time: 4.3opm daily
#6: Superhero School
It’s Eva’s first day of Superhero training and she has to decide what kind of Superhero she wants to be. With the help of the School Captain and the Principal, Eva learns about the different types of heroes and how they fight crime. Then the villains find out there is a newbie to the school and try to sway her to come and cause havoc with them instead of stopping it. What would you do? Bring the family along and come watch the show to find out what happens next.

#7: Surfers Paradise Mascot Showcase
Get ready to end your day with the Surfers Paradise Mascot Showcase, with free giveaways, photo opportunities and plenty of fun to be had!
