Holiday Holiday were contacted by the local news media to talk about the 100% occupancy rate for the September 2017 school holidays.

The news bulletin aired on Thursday, 28 September 2017 on Channel 9 Gold Coast and featured one of Holiday Holiday’s directors, Lee Lee Goh, and front office assistant manager Emma Walker, together with Mike Winlaw from Surfers Paradise Alliance, highlighting the number of visitors and activities happening in Surfers Paradise for the School Holidays.

According to our database, more than 30% of total guests that stayed in Surfers Paradise with Holiday Holiday during this period were from New South Wales, with a similar number of guests visiting from Victoria. Guests from Queensland made up the next largest group, with 12.5%, while guests from New Zealand made up 9.5% of total visitors for the September 2017 school holidays. The remaining guests were visiting from Tasmania, Western Australia, Asia and Europe.
