Tip 1: Tag the Favourites button
From a selection of 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, and 3 bedroom apartments in the heart of Surfers Paradise, take your time to choose your favourite Gold Coast holiday rental.
Scroll through each of the property’s features such as:
- Level;
- View;
- Photos;
- Bedding configuration;
- Furnishing;
- And most importantly take note on how you feel about the apartment – trust your instinct on this!
When you find one that you like, don’t swipe right, but click on the “love heart” button that also says “Save to Favourites”. The love heart button will turn orange when selected.
There are no limit to how many favourite apartments you tag so start tagging!
Tip 2: Share the Love!
Share this favourite apartment with your travel partner, friends or family by clicking on the “Share” button. You can share on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or by email using this Share button.
You can also share on Facebook using the direct share to Facebook button. Or share it using the direct email button to your travel partner, or just to indicate, *wink *wink, that you need a holiday.
Go on, share it, and get those “comments” and “likes” coming in on your Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or email.
You’re not restricted to only one apartment or one love interest, it doesn’t hurt to share as many Favourite apartments as you like.
Tip 3: View the Saved Favourites
Now that you have selected several favourite apartments, it is time to view all the saved favourites in one page.
For a line up of all your saved favourite apartments, go to the top of our website and find the “love heart” button. Hover over it and it will say “Favourites”. Click on the love heart and you will be directed to a page called “Your Favourite Apartments” with all your saved favourites.
Tip 4: Eliminate one by one
Now for the elimination process (rose ceremony anyone?). With one glance, we are hoping you will be drawn immediately to your absolute favourite apartment. But guess what? You don’t have to make a decision immediately on your absolute favourite. Take your time and scroll through each individual apartment again if you wish.
When it is crunch time, do the following in sequence:
1. Choose between apartment 1 and apartment 2 – eliminate one by removing the “love heart” tick – this is the front runner;
2. Choose between front runner and apartment 3 – eliminate one by removing the “love heart” tick – this is the new front runner;
3. Continue until the last pair and you will end up with the absolute favourite!
And often, you will be surprised to find that your absolute favourite is the same one that you are drawn to prior to the elimination process.
Tip 5: Take your time
The final tip is to just take your time. There is no need to hurry when selecting a favourite Gold Coast holiday rental apartment. Go back to your saved favourite list and revisit the rooms that give you the feeling of joy. Imagine you and your partner or family relaxing on the Gold Coast in the favourite apartment.
