Bumper year for holiday bookings
Boutique property management and accommodation booking service Holiday Holiday has experienced a bumper summer holiday season, recording 100 per cent occupancy over the period.
The booking service manages more than 150 apartments in Surfers Paradise in buildings such as Chevron Renaissance,
Circle on Cavill, Soul, Q1 and the H Residences above Hilton Surfers Paradise.
It says many of its properties are booked out until June and forecasts a strong year ahead as Australians watch household budgets and holiday in their own backyard.
Holiday Holiday director Lee Lee Goh said most clients were local and interstate families opting to enjoy luxury accommodation in the heart of Surfers Paradise while being close to beaches, entertainment and theme parks.
“Families with children are our biggest market, with 88 per cent of our guests travelling with children,” she said. “The appeal for families is the fact that they can stay at some of the best Gold Coast properties, with beaches, entertainment and attractions close by, while paying affordable room rates through a personalised book-
ing service.”
Ms Goh said the service had been hugely popular with interstate travellers, with 42 per cent of guests coming from
NSW and 28 per cent from Victoria.
She said savvy online customers could achieve savings by choosing an apartment and locking in three-night stays, or longer, in properties with family friendly facilities. Families with children are our biggest market, with 88 per cent of our guests travelling with children.
