#1: Usher Cup

When? Thursday January 19th – Sunday 22th January 2023

Southern Gold Coast’s Snapper Rocks will come alive with 32 surfers from 8 International Boardriding Clubs competing against 128 surfers from 32 Australian Boardriding Clubs over 4 days, from 19 to 22 January, 2023.

#2: Sea World Carnivale

When? Select Fridays and Saturday from 28th January to 25th Feb

Returning due to popular demand, Sea World Carnivale is back in January and sure to dazzle the entire family. The Aquacolour Spectacular will shine brighter than ever before with a dazzling mix of a refreshed music and magical light show over the Sea World lake. This family friendly festival features exotic food and entertainment including aerialists, fire twirlers, musicians and more! Carnivale events take place from 5:30–8:30 pm on selected Friday and Saturday nights from January 28th to February 25th.

#3: 2023 Pacific Fair Magic Millions Polo

When? Sunday January 8th, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

Venue: Doug Jennings Park, Main Beach

Mingle with royalty, polo players and celebrities as you enjoy a stylish day out at The Polo. Pacific Fair will be running a pavilion, offering luxurious hospitality in a stylish tent. For a more relaxed day, why not pack a picnic basket and rug and enjoy a family day out with General Admission for only $50.

#4: Australia Day Fireworks at Broadwater Parklands

When? Thursday January 26th from 4pm to 8pm

Venue: Broadwater Parklands

January on The Gold Coast means celebrating Australia Day in true Aussie style, with family and friends and delicious food and drinks. Be part of the festivities at the Gold Coast’s 2022 Australia Day Celebrations on 26 January at Broadwater Parklands, Southport. From 4pm to 8pm there’ll be:

  • Live local musicians performing
  • An assortment of food trucks
  • Free kids activities
  • Fantastic fireworks finale!
