Ready to hit the Gold Coast after a good night's sleep
This edition of travel guide on Gold Coast accommodation options is about real life requests from Holiday Holiday guests. Recently, Ms. Reservations Genius received a request for a quiet and dark room due to Mdm. K being a light sleeper. Here are some tips and recommendations on what to look out for when choosing a Gold Coast accommodation with Holiday Holiday especially when a good night’s sleep is very important for you.
Did you know that many of Holiday Holiday rooms come with curtains instead of blinds? Gone are the pesky strips of light between blinds that pour in when the sun is up. Ask for our recommendations on which apartment has block out curtains in the bedrooms so you will find an apartment that is dark for a good night’s sleep.
Did you know that due to the Gold Coast’s long 42km stretch of ocean, almost every apartment that faces the ocean is easterly and gets direct sunlight. You will not get a chance to sleep in with sunrise sometimes starting as early as 4.30am in summer. For a good night’s sleep, and to indulge by sleeping in a little during your holiday, ask for a westerly apartment so you can catch that little bit more rejuvenation in the morning. Alternatively, ask for an apartment with a tucked in second bedroom such as level 12 and level 16 of H Residences above Hilton Surfers Paradise.
Almost all Holiday Holiday apartments come with bath in the apartment or on the common facilities’ floor. All Circle on Cavill and Soul Surfers Paradise apartments are equipped with a spa bath in the ensuite so you can have a private relaxing bath before bedtime for a good night’s sleep. Other majority of Holiday Holiday apartments have baths built in the bathroom. All resorts will have at least a common spa such as the amazing 10 seater rock spa bath in Chevron Renaissance.
Ms. Reservations Genius recommended Mdm. K to level 17 of H Residences above Hilton Surfers Paradise. Its southerly facing main bedroom has thick block out and sheer curtains, and looks out to ocean and river views. Unfortunately, we were unable to guarantee a good night’s sleep for Mr. K as Mdm. K was up and ready the next day to hit town with some serious shopping at Pacific Fair Shopping Centre.
