The Seaway 2 Seaway Gold Coast Charity Walk raises funds for homeless youth of the Gold Coast. The walk covers 35 kilometres along the beaches from Southport Spit to Duranbah beach. The function is initiated by the Gold Coast Mayoress Charitable Foundation which raises funds to support those in need on the Gold Coast, with a focus on the youth.
There are three stops at the Charity Walk, including Kurrawa Park, the Palm Beach Parklands and the finish at Point Danger. Participants can take time to enjoy the magnificent scenery of 12 Gold Coast suburbs and the beautiful beaches.
The event starts at 5:30am on this Sunday, 22 September 2013 from Doug Jennings Park at the Southport Seaway. Visitors can take this opportunity to support this meaningful function on the Gold Coast.
