Winter on the Gold Coast is a beautiful time of year, the days are sunny and clear and start and end with the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets. VIVA Surfers Paradise

The upcoming event Viva Surfers Paradise will run from Friday 13th July to Sunday 22nd July along the Surfers Paradise Foreshore, Surfers Paradise Beach, and pop up activations throughout Cavill Mall.

Viva Surfers Paradise is Australasia’s largest tribute artist festival and is a premiere event on the music calendar, where we take a step back in time and pay tribute to the world’s greatest music legends, including ‘King’ Elvis Presley, with ten days of free classic entertainment. In 2018 crowd favourites including the Renewal of Vows Ceremony officiated by none other than an Elvis tribute artist and the car show ‘n’ shine will feature again, plus so much more!

Play with All The Colours of the Rainbow – HOTA

Location: HOTA, Bundall.

This one’s for the kids, Little ArtLab provides hands-on creative fun with art activities designed for kids to enjoy with their parents.  Learn how colours can mix and change, and how lines move and blur, by making and dancing with ribbons. The cost is only a $10 and is bound to be a hit over these school holidays. Whilst you’re there, the HOTA (home of the arts) has plenty of entertainment for everyone, including live theatre shows and music performances.

The Annual Gold Coast Show

Location: Broadwater Parklands
Date: 31st August-2nd September
Cost: Free!

The Gold Coast Show is returning this year, and for the first time entry to the event will be free! The event attracts over 60,000 people each year who come to enjoy the mix of city and country competitions, demonstrations and displays, free live entertainment, carnival atmosphere, rides and of course, the firework show. Gold Coast locals will enjoy a Public Holiday for the event on Friday the 31st of August, this is the perfect excuse to checkout this community run event.
