Surfers Paradise Fest-Evil is a three day family fun-filled graveyard full of free entertainment, hair-raising activities and in-venue events that will take place from Thursday 31 October to Saturday 2 November 2019 inclusive.

What to Expect?

From face-painting to makeup workshops, spontaneous ‘freak show’ acts, Cosplay and Costume Competitions, trick or treat offerings, games and a frightful array of 18+ Halloween parties across the precinct, including the afterdark offerings of Infectious Halloween. This safe and family-friendly event offers something for all ages.

The spookish fun begins on All Hallows’ eve, a night where the kids can learn the ghoulish ways of a zombie, bust a move to Thriller, play games and participate in the official Costume Character Competition at the child-friendly show at the official Fest-Evil stage in Cavill Mall. Of course, there’ll be trick or treating too! Come if you dare in your favourite Halloween wear.

Surfers Paradise Zombie Walk

Featured within Fest-Evil is the Surfers Paradise Zombie Walk which attracted more than 1000 participants last year, showcases a parade of Zombie Walk enthusiasts. The Surfers Paradise Zombie Walk will take place on Saturday, 2nd of November 2019 at the Surfers Paradise Fest-Evil family friendly event, filled with all things freaky and fun that is sure to give yougoosebumps!

All zombie walkers will have a chance to be crowned King or Queen in the annual Zombie Cosplay Competition and win a total prize pool of $2,000. Competition judged at 4pm. Register to enter on the day between 10am – 2:45pm at the Zombie Walk Marshalling Zone (participants must be ready to go 10 minutes prior to the start time). Surfers Paradise Zombie Walk starts promptly at 4:30pm.

Tickets to the Surfers Paradise Zombie Walk starts from $10 for single or get the family together for a fun time with tickets for family of 4 at $30.
