The Gold Coats international Food, Wine and Music Festival will be held between 11 & 13 April 2014 (Friday to Sunday). There are many feasting opportunity and masterclasses on the menu to suit all people including the foodies. Here are the main events of the Festival:
- Feasting – Salt grill at Boulevard/Orchid Tower Surfers Paradise will be hosting a wine dinner with celebrity Chef Luke Mangan. Indulge in a 5-course menu complemented by a range of matching wines. You can choose your apartment of stay at the Boulevard/Orchid Tower to enjoy the event.
- Festival Village – If you purchase a general admission ticket, you will have full access to the Festival Village located at Palm Meadows Drive, Carrara on the Gold Coast. Enjoy live music paired with a thirst-quenching beverage, and walk through the beautiful settings providing you a relaxing atmosphere.
- Masterclasses – Wine exports JJ Peyre and Duane Roy are holding the Wine Masterclass at 81 Surf Parade in Broadbeach. You can appreciate the old world and new world styles of wine. Further, Matt Golinski’s Greek Culinary Mythbusters will teach you Greek cuisine cooking techniques. In addition to tasting session, you will receive a glass of premium wine in the exclusive workshop.
