Gemelli is a traditional Italian restaurant owned by 3 brothers from Sydney. Situated in the heart of stylish Broadbeach, this restaurant has traditional Italian wood fired pizzas, pasta, salads and more.

The restaurant name “Gemelli” means twins in Italian and is named after 2 of the 3 brothers – all with an Italian heritage. The food and atmosphere reflects on their time spent in Italy learning from their Nonna.

The pizza oven is specially imported from Italy to create the traditional wood fired pizzas which are served with few ingredients but a lot of fresh flavours. The dough is hand thrown and made fresh on site every day and so is all the pasta. All the items on the menu are the brother’s favourite meals and prepared by the handpicked Italian chefs. The wine menu has boutique wines from around Australia as well as Italian varieties. Also on offer is Italian liquor, cocktails and a range of beers.

The ambience at Gemelli is traditional yet modern with rustic bricks, brushed Italian granite bar, open ceilings and even complete with a Vespa.

The staff are attentive and friendly even though the restaurant is extremely busy.

The consistent theme of Gemelli is “traditional homemade” and this definitely reflects the food and atmosphere at this little slice of Italy on the Gold Coast.

The restaurant is located near Holiday Holiday apartments. Try to get on the Gold Coast light rail and enjoy the sightseeing on the journey.
