This is an update from the Marathon weekend for Holiday Holiday Run For Charity. We aimed to raise $1,000 for the Cancer Council Queensland and we managed to raise a total of $1,296.87 towards the charity. Special thanks to all the contributors who has so generously donated to our cause.
On 6 July 2019, eleven team members representing Holiday Holiday completed the 10km marathon run during the Gold Coast Marathon 2019. The best time ran was by team member Jens Nilsson with a time of 41:13s, a placing of 270 out of 4,467 participants and putting Jens in the top 93.96% of the participants. Well done, Jens!
All eleven team members successfully completed the 10km run and we are so proud of each of his/her achievement. The 10km finisher was each rewarded with a finishing medal and Marathon T-shirt.
Special thanks to the team of supporters who was present on the day, cheering the Holiday Holiday team members. It was an exhilarating event and one that has created a special bond with all the team members.
We look forward to next year’s Marathon and the goal will be to better our time ran this year. Last but not least, let’s try and raise more for the Cancer Council Queensland next year!

Holiday Holiday team members will be running the Gold Coast Marathon for a good cause this year. Eleven team members will represent Holiday Holiday Run For Charity and we will be supporting the Cancer Council Queensland.
All of us knows someone who is affected by cancer. Cancer Council’s cause is very dear to the hearts of Holiday Holiday team members. We sincerely believe in the Cancer Council’s cause.

One person is diagnosed with cancer every 20 minutes in Queensland. Cancer Council raises much-needed funds for cancer research, patient support services and education programs.

Holiday Holiday will be represented by ten team members. We will be running the 10km Southern Cross University Run, starting time at 6.30am on Saturday 6 July 2019.
