Gold Coast Tourism has recently launched its new marketing campaign with “We are Destination Gold Coast”. The new marketing campaign is targeted to all ages to encourage them to ‘live like a local’ for travellers visiting the Gold Coast. Not only does the campaign inspire locals including us at Holiday Holiday to share our way of life to guests coming to the Gold Coast, it brings to life the city’s lesser-known strengths as a place to live, study, work, invest and holiday.

Since its establishment by the tourism industry in 1975, Gold Coast Tourism has operated as a membership-based destination marketing organisation representing the sector and generating increased visitor demand, visitor arrivals, and visitor expenditure for the benefit of the city.

As of mid 2018, with the success of its “We are Destination Gold Coast”, Gold Coast Tourism has rebranded itself to Destination Gold Coast (DGC). DGC is now the official site of Gold Coast Tourism.

Holiday Holiday has been a member of Destination Gold Coast for the last five years. Destination Gold Coast has the same objective of Holiday Holiday in that we choose to inspire holiday makers to visit the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, by sharing with our readers relevant and authentic experiences of a local.

Adding to this, TripAdvisor has rated 2 Gold Coast beaches within the top 10 beaches in Australia highlighting the famous Surfers Paradise beach and Burleigh beach, located further south on the Gold Coast.

With the Gold Coast moving forward at such a rapid rate, you can definitely see why you need to make sure the Gold Coast is your next holiday destination.

Book your favourite Gold Coast accommodation early with Holiday Holiday to save on your accommodation to the Gold Coast. Surfers Paradise accommodation starts from just $105 per night* in the Chevron Renaissance building in the heart of Surfers Paradise.
