Viva Surfers Paradise will run for 10 days from Friday 12 July to Sunday 21 July along the Surfers Paradise Foreshore, Surfers Paradise Beach, and in the official VIVA Theatre Marquee. Watch a unique Feature Show every night, brought to you by Elvis Tribute Artists and world-class Tribute Acts able to recreate the sound and style of your favourite rock, pop and soul artists.

#1: Viva Street Parade
Viva Street Parade returns for its second year on Saturday 13 July 2019 at 5.30pm. A carnival-style street party featuring performers, classic cars and floats will proceed through the streets of Surfers Paradise. A free outdoor concert by big band Soul Men will follow, paying tribute to the Blues Brothers.
Viva Street Parade will start from Corner Hanlan Street and the Esplanade Surfers Paradise so bring your family along and watch the parade as it weaves it way through the heart of Surfers Paradise along the Esplanade, Elkhorn Avenue, Orchid Avenue and Cavill Avenue.
#2: 2019 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest
VIVA hosts preliminary rounds for the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest, held annually in Memphis, United States. VIVA has invited 20 high-calibre contestants to compete over two days in a rigorous contest. The winner will travel to Memphis for Elvis Week 2019 to compete in the semi-final round.

#3: Elton John Experience
Greg Andrew’s sequin-studded show takes you on one of the world’s greatest song-writing journeys spanning 40 years. Covering Elton’s iconic hits from ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’, and all major hits from the ‘70s, ‘80s, ‘90s through to today, this production replicates as closely as possible the experience of an Elton John concert today, highlighting the showmanship, virtuoso piano playing and crowd engagement that you would expect from this iconic performer, accompanied by seven world-class musicians on stage.

#4: The Killer Queen Experience
John Blunt is one of the world’s most recognised Freddie Mercury tribute artists and together with the band – Wayne Vitale, Bass Guitar (John Deacon), Kevin Shilling, Drums (Roger Taylor) and Andrew Edwards, Guitar (Brian May) – form the complete Queen line up portraying their personas in costume, replica instruments and harmonies. Enjoy some of Queen’s greatest hits including ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, ‘We Will Rock You’, ‘We Are the Champions’, ‘Somebody to Love’, ‘Radio Ga Ga’, and ‘Another One Bites the Dust’, all on the VIVA stage.

#5: The Beatles – The Ultimate Beatles Tribute
Taking you on a journey during the fame of the most iconic rock ‘n’ roll bands, Queensland’s very own Beatles Tribute Show, The Beatlegs, create a nostalgic porthole to the ‘60s. With their true to form costume changes, superb harmonies and music, The Beatlegs have been performing as the Fab Four since 2008. Come together to experience the ultimate Australian Beatles tribute act.

#6: Renewal of Vows Ceremony
Declare your burning love for your partner in our very own chapel of love! Renew your vows in a group ceremony performed by our very own Elvis, Dean Vegas.

#7: Car Show and Shine
Car enthusiasts will not want to miss the 2019 Car Show ‘n’ Shine! Take a stroll along the foreshore and discover an impressive array of classic cars from the ‘50s right through to the ‘80s, thanks to the Gold Coast Muscle Cars.

#8: Gospel Songs with Diogo Light
Join international Tribute Artist Diogo Light, accompanied by the Brisbane City Gospel Choir as they give a heart-warming performance of the many gospel songs of the ‘50s and ‘60s. Sing along to iconic classics including ‘Amazing Grace’, ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’, ‘How Great Thou Art’ and many more.
