Salt Grill by Luke Mangion is a fine dining restaurant in Hilton Surfers Paradise. It is located on Level 1 at the very popular Hilton Hotel in Orchid Avenue.
Salt offers a relaxed atmosphere with a wide variety food menu, wine list and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Luke Mangion has designed the modern dining menu around fresh and locally sourced ingredients. To give you an idea, some of the dishes on offer are: Luke’s signature Hiroshima Kingfish sashimi; Zucchini flower, goat’s cheese, semi-dried heirloom tomato & basil; Sydney spiced snapper, grilled octopus, Thai salad & chilli jus. There are many more exciting dishes on Luke’s menu that will entice guest for a return visit.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is relaxing and overlooks the buzz of Orchid Avenue with large circular windows. The open kitchen located in the middle of the restaurant creates an excitement throughout. The attentive staff are friendly but efficient while serving all guests. They also have great recommendations on the extensive wine on offer. A separate wine tasting room is a unique additive to this already creative venue.
A degustation menu is available with or without matching wines and has a great selection of all the unique dishes on offer.
