Vodafone Gold Coast 600
October is here and it is the time for the annual Gold Coast 600. The Vodafone Gold Coast 600 event will be held from 25 to 27 October 2019 inclusive. It is a significant event on the Gold Coast at Surfers Paradise Circuit, replacing the Gold Coast Indy. Gold Coast 600 is Queensland’s premier Supercars event and the final endurance race on the Supercars calendar
Gold Coast 600 is run on the streets of Surfers Paradise. Located at the Northern End of Surfers Paradise, 20 kilometres north of Gold Coast Airport along Gold Coast Highway.
Gold Coast 600 is also famous for its off-track entertainment. You can always expect to see some of Australia’s top artists make an appearance. Past music performers include Birds of Tokyo, The Living End, The Rubens, Peking Duck, Hilltop Hoods, Daryl Braithwaite and Cold Chisel just to name a handful!
Track Schedule
Surfers Paradise circuit is Round 13 of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship, and the second leg of the PIRTEK Enduro Cup, from 25 – 27 October 2019.
Three thirty-minute practice sessions are held on Friday 25 October 2019. Saturday 26 October 2019 features a twenty-minute qualifying session which decides the grid positions for the following 300 kilometre race. A twenty-minute qualifying session is held on Sunday 27 October 2019, succeeded by a top ten shootout, the combined results of which decide the grid for the following 300 km race.
Broadwater Sounds Concert
Want to do something else apart from just checking out the fast cars? You can expect an unforgettable line up of entertainment at the Broadwater Sounds concert as part of the Vodafone Gold Coast 600.
This year the entertainment line-up is packed like never before, with seven acts across two huge nights, on two new stages now located inside the race track.
The Club 600 stage at the rear of the pit complex will host a DJ mix with some of the world’s biggest names, while the Hill Stage near the final corner hill area will feature Australian pop rock and alternate artists.
At the Club 600 Stage, internationally renowned British DJ Carl Cox will headline with another global special guest, DJ Eric Powell. They will be joined by Australian festival sensation Hot Dub Time Machine and Brisbane-based British hitmaker Example.
The Hill Stage will showcase three of Australia’s best rock and alternative acts with Kingswood, Mental as Anything and The Vanns.
Entertainment is included in your same day event ticket.

How to get to Gold Coast 600?
Public Transport
Parking is fairly limited in areas surrounding the event so the best way to travel is by public transport.
For all pre-purchased event entry ticket holders, travel is free to an from the event on the G Link trams, Surfside buses and Queensland rail city network trains from Friday 25 October 2019 until Sunday 27 October 2019 inclusive.
Children aged 12 and under can travel for free on certain public transport services with a paying adult in possession of a valid entry ticket.
Taxis & Limousines
There are two designated taxi drop off and pick up zones situated at the southern end of Staghorn Avenue (in Surfers Paradise) opposite the QT Gold Coast in Surfers Paradise and at the Northern end of Cronin Avenue in Main Beach.
Uber/Lyft
Designated ride share drop off and pick up zones north and south of the GC 600 precinct are Southern side of Palm Ave and western side of Rankin.
Parking
Bruce Bishop Car Park will be one of the best places to park for the event but parking is limited so plan your schedule accordingly. All Holiday Holiday Gold Coast holiday apartments booking receive a complimentary car parking space.
