Q1 High-rise is one of the majors Surfers Paradise Resorts and was built by the Sunland Group and was completed towards the end of year 2005. The building is well known, being recognised as the southern hemisphere’s tallest residential tower. Sky Deck

The Q1 observation sky deck has its own high speed lifts taking viewers to a dizzying height to the top of the building in 43 seconds. On a clear day, viewers can see 360 degrees all the way to Brisbane to the north, Hinterland to the west, Byron Bay to the south and the Pacific Ocean to the east. The top of Q1 spire measures 322.5m from the ground, making it the southern’s hemisphere’s tallest residential tower.
