Surfers Paradise New Year’s Carnival

27 December 2019 – 1 January 2020, 3pm-10pm

31 December 2019, 3pm to 12am

This year, Surfers Paradise will be bringing in the new year by celebrating over six massive days! Starting with a bang from Friday December 27 2019, the Gold Coast’s most famous beachside destination will explode to life from 3:00-10pm daily, except for New Year’s Eve which will see the Carnival operating until midnight to ensure you’re carried into the New Year in true Surfers Paradise style!

Daily activities will be held for the little and big kids alike with a huge array of family-friendly activities and carnival rides including rock-climbing walls, cup and saucer and pirate ship rides along the golden Surfers Paradise beach.

Surfers Paradise New Year’s Eve Fireworks

31st December 2019, 8pm and midnight

New Year’s Eve fireworks in Surfers Paradise is a favourite amongst locals and visitors. Over 30,000 fireworks will light up the sky from an off shore barge. This spectacular event is planned well for families, with a show for the little ones at 8pm and a show for the bigger kids at midnight.

A way to beat the crowd is to find out in advance where to park for Surfers Paradise New Year’s Carnival and Fireworks.
