About Holiday Holiday

Are you the hotel's onsite management?

We are not affiliated with the onsite management. We represent the owners for each of the self-contained apartments we manage.

Do you have concierge facility?

No, we do not provide concierge facility.

How are you different to the onsite management?

We provide services direct to our guests and we take care of individual apartments that are within our letting pools. Our office is based in the Chevron Renaissance shopping centre and all check ins, check outs and service requests are conducted through us.

How do I know Holiday Holiday is a genuine company on the Gold Coast?

Holiday Holiday's parent company, Blue Corp Trading and Gold Coast Property Expo have been established since 2007. We are located at two locations in Surfers Paradise. You can also contact the Department of Fair Trading Queensland to conduct a licence number search of our company.

How does Holiday Holiday provide savings compared to onsite management?

Holiday Holiday directly represents owners of individual apartments that guests reside in. Holiday Holiday manages housekeeping and maintenance very closely and endeavours to provide as much savings as possible to property owners and guests. As such, Holiday Holiday often cuts out the middle person and provide savings directly to the general public in lower apartment rates.

If I hold a seniors card, can I receive a discount?

Yes, if you hold a seniors card and book over the phone with one of our friendly consultants you can receive 5% off your booking. See terms and conditions for more information.

Where does my deposit money and balance payment go to?

All deposit money and balance payment of accommodation must be deposited into a government regulated trust account according to Queensland laws. Our real estate agency trust account is audited by a Queensland certified accountant every 3 months in accordance with Queensland laws.

Check-in and Check-out Information

Do we check in at the hotel?

No, you will check in at our Holiday Holiday reception.

Do we check out at the hotel?

No, you check out and return the apartment keys at our Holiday Holiday reception.

How do we get to your office?

We provide complimentary 2 hours carparking at Chevron Renaissance Shopping Centre. Please bring your parking ticket and head up to our office on level 1 above Infinity at the Chevron Renaissance Shopping Centre.

What time is check in?

Check in time is at 2pm. However, if the room is cleaned and ready prior to 2pm, you are more than welcome to check in earlier. Please advise the office of your arrival time 24 hours prior to arrival.

What time is check out?

Check out time is at 10am. You can request for later check out, subject to availability. Hourly cost may apply. Please arrange with the office at least 24 hours before the day of departure.

About the Apartments

Are the rooms cleaned daily?

No, all apartments managed by Holiday Holiday are self-contained apartments. All our room rates are basic room rate only and does not include daily cleaning.

Can we see the photos of the exact apartment we will be staying in?

Yes, you can choose the exact apartment you wish to stay in. You can see the photos on the individual website link and select the level, view, bedding, etc of your choice.

Do the rooms have complimentary wifi internet access?

All the accommodation rates include apartment stay only. We do not offer complimentary wifi. However, wifi internet can be hired from the office. Alternatively, there are also paid public hotspots from the apartments.

Do you provide any hotel amenities in the rooms?

Yes, we provide a complimentary start up kit of tea and coffee making facilities, shampoo, laundry and dishwashing detergent, etc. You can purchase more of these kits if you wish to or you can head to the shopping centre to purchase any needs within walking distance of our resorts.

Do you supply beach towels?

We do not supply beach towels so you may wish to bring your own.

Is there a laundry facility in the apartment?

All our apartments come with fully equipped laundry facility or room. We have a washing machine, dryer and clothes line in all our apartments.

Is there cooking facility in the apartment?

All our apartments come with fully equipped kitchen. You are free to use all the appliances in the kitchen.

Carparking Facilities

Do your apartments come with car parking? Does it cost anything?

All our apartments offer complimentary one car parking.

Assistance Needed

Can we get our rooms cleaned daily?

Our room rates are basic room rate only and does not include daily cleaning. However, if you wish to have your rooms cleaned daily, this can be arranged with the office for an additional fee.

What do we do if we need any assistance after hours?

For emergency after hours assistance, please head down to the main lobby area and ask for security in the resort. Guests are also supplied with an emergency after hours number during check-in. It is your responsibility to ensure you have this number with you at all times. Fee of $150 applies for lock out service. Fee of $150 applies if you call the emergency number, and the item you have called is not an emergency situation.

What do we do if we need any assistance when we have checked in to the apartment?

Please contact our office for any assistance or any servicing needs. You can call us on 07 55269213 during office hours.

What if I need assistance with my room or booking? Can I call someone or go down to reception?

Holiday Holiday's reception is located at Suite SK2 Chevron Renaissance Shopping Centre. You can come to our office or contact the office on 07 55269213 for any assistance.

About the Gold Coast

How do we get to the Gold Coast?

Fly direct to Gold Coast Airport at Coolangatta. There are over 350 direct flights a week domestic and international to the Gold Coast from across Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Malaysia and now Singapore.

Here are the approximate domestic flight duration to fly to the Gold Coast:

  • Sydney 1.5 hours
  • Melbourne 2.5hours
  • Perth 5 hours
  • Adelaide 2.5 hours
  • Darwin 4 hours
  • Canberra 2 hours
  • Hobart 2.5 hours 

Alternatively you can also fly to Brisbane. It takes approximately an hour to drive to the Gold Coast from Brisbane domestic or international airport. You can also take shuttles, coaches, taxis or the train to the Gold Coast from the airport. 

What are the major banks on the Gold Coast?

Major banks are ANZ, Westpac Bank, Commonwealth Bank, St. George, Bank of Queensland, and National Australia Bank. You can find a branch of HSBC only in Southport.

What currencies do you use on the Gold Coast?

In Australia the legal tender is Australian dollars (AUD). We generally accept cash, Eftpos, Mastercard and Visa.

What do I do if I need to exchange some Australian dollars?

You can find currency exchange in Surfers Paradise and within walking distance of our office. You can also exchange currencies at major banks in Surfers Paradise. Please speak to us at reception for directions and more assistance.

What is the climate on the Gold Coast?

Gold Coast experiences the four seasons: summer, autumn, winter and spring. However, formal seasons are not so apparent on the Gold Coast. You can expect an average of 300 days of sunshine in a year.

What is the temperature on the Gold Coast?

Gold Coast temperature ranges from average 10 degrees Celsius - 20 degrees Celsius in winter; 25 degrees Celsius to 30 degrees Celsius in summer.

  • Summer: December to February 20-28C (68-83F)
  • Autumn: March to May 16-26C (61-77F)
  • Winter: June to August 11-21C (52-70F)
  • Spring: September to November 15-25C (59-77F)

What is the weather like on the Gold Coast?

It gets fairly hot and humid in summer so stay in the shades and you can still enjoy the lovely breeze from the ocean. It gets fairly cool during winter so stay in the sun and pack a light jacket.

What should I bring to the Gold Coast?

Have lots of fun here but most importantly make sure you slap on plenty of sunscreen as the Gold Coast sun is very unforgiving. Often, the locals also get sunburn even on cloudy days. Bring a cap or large brimmed hat and long sleeve shirt to reduce sun exposure.

Yes, you are able to use all hotel resort facilities as all hotel  facilities are owned by the owners of the properties we manage.
